This Privacy Policy explains how Early Responders (“Early Responders”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit or use the job board at https://earlyresponders.com (the “Website”).   • Employment details: your CV/résumé, work history, certifications, skills, references, location, and job preferences.
  • Transaction information: membership plan, billing details, and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
  • Usage & technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, listings clicked, and dates/times of access, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Please do not submit special categories of data (such as health, religion, or trade-union membership) unless necessary; where you choose to include such data in a CV or application, you consent to our processing it for that purpose.

3. How We Use Your Information and Our Legal Bases

We process your personal data for the following purposes, relying on the legal bases shown:

  • To provide the Website, your account, and membership, and to process job applications — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Website, and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta pixel) to measure and improve our marketing.   • Employers and recruiters, when you apply for or express interest in a role.

  • Authorities or third parties, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or safety.

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States.   • Account and profile data: for as long as your account is active, and up to 24 months after it becomes inactive or is closed.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly.

The Website is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable age of digital consent.

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing. We do use analytics and advertising tools that may involve profiling for marketing measurement, which you can control through your cookie-consent choices.
