So "the Worst Responders job board" and "the Beyond The Meat Wagon job board" are the same product. One board, two names.
What you get with their board
Credit where it's due, and plenty is due:
- The community is the real product. They've built one of the biggest first responder audiences online, and it's genuinely funny. Nobody else in this space has that reach.
- Pay goes in the job title. The listings in their public preview carry the rate right in the title, like "EMT / Paramedic ($36-40/hr)". That's more upfront than a lot of this industry manages.
- They carry the deployment and federal end of the market. Base, government and remote-site contracts show up on their board.
The subscription is $17.76 a month, one plan, as listed on their store. Logged out, the board shows a counter and a four-listing preview under a banner that reads "The job search is restricted to members." Open any listing and you're sent to the login page.
Worth knowing before you pay

- The board is small. Its own counter showed 68 jobs.
- Some listings are credited to public job sites. In the preview, "USA Jobs" and "Government Jobs" appear where the hiring company would be. Nothing wrong with that, but it's worth knowing what the subscription is buying.
- It's a big tent. Their product page lists CNAs, EMTs, LPNs, MAs, paramedics, nurses, firefighters, military, law enforcement and security. If you're a medic, you're one audience among many.
- No refund terms that we could find. Their store's refund and terms pages don't load, and the board's own terms don't mention refunds. Ask them before you buy.

Pay you can filter
Daily, weekly and yearly rates are converted to an hourly equivalent, so you can filter the board by pay band. When an employer doesn't state pay, the listing says "Not specified" instead of hiding it. On September 14, 2026, about two in three listings had an hourly rate.
A board that doesn't go stale
A listing stays up only while it's still live where it came from. If we stop seeing it at the source for 30 days, it comes down. Anything posted in the last 7 days is marked "New".
