The contracts most medics never see

They sit in employers' own hiring systems — not where you're looking. We pull them out daily. Here's one, live:

Every listing

  • Carefully curated
  • Employer named
  • Apply direct
  • Refreshed daily

Doing it solo is dozens and dozens of employer sites, tab after tab, scrolling past everything that isn't for you. This is one board in your pocket — check it between calls or on a transfer, and your next contract is waiting, not gone.

Real medics, real results

Find out what our members had to say about Early Responders

You already know this part

Exhausted by endless shifts

Twelve-hour tours that turn into sixteen, and days off that get eaten by the schedule.

Drowning in bills despite the overtime

Picking up every hour you can and still watching it go straight back out.

Watching others advance while you're stuck

The people working the better contracts were not better medics. They saw the postings.

Passion for the work fading fast

Burnout is not a character flaw. It is what happens when the job takes more than it gives back.

Early Responders is where the better-paid work is already posted

We were on the truck too. We built the board we needed.

Why members stay

One place to look

Contract work is scattered across federal boards, agencies and specialist sites. It arrives here already gathered.

The rate, before you click

Pay is printed on the listing. Where the employer never stated one, the listing says that too.

Checked before it goes live

Every listing is reviewed for first-responder relevance and pay quality. No clerical filler, no recycled reposts.

New contracts come to you

Set a keyword alert and pick the cadence — daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

The work this board is for

Not one more list of 911 openings. These are the contracts that pay differently.

Local heroes

Community EMS and fire close to home — the good services, and the ones paying above the county rate.

Globe-trotting contracts

Cruise rotations, offshore hitches and international work, where housing and meals usually come with the rate.

Seasonal adventures

Wildland fire season, disaster response and the federal seasonal boards, where a few months can carry a year.

VIP care

Concierge, private duty and event medicine. Fewer calls, higher pay, and a schedule you can plan around.

How it goes

  1. Pick a plan

One card charge on the plans page. Two minutes, and you're in.

  2. Open the board

Access is immediate. Employer named, rate printed, apply link on every listing.

  3. Set an alert

Keywords and a cadence — daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. New contracts come to you.

  4. Apply direct

You apply on the employer’s own site, in your own words. We take no cut and no fee, and nobody is told you looked.

707 contracts are open right now

Every one of them is checked, with the rate on the listing. The only thing between you and the employer's name is the login.

What is Early Responders?

A paid, members-only job board for EMTs, paramedics and firefighter-medics. We pull high-paying contract, travel, seasonal and non-traditional first-responder work from across the industry, filter it for relevance and pay, and check every listing before a member sees it.

It was started by people who worked on the truck, which is the only reason the filtering is any good.

Who is it for?

Working EMTs, paramedics and firefighter-medics — most usefully those with enough time in to move into better-paid work and no idea where it gets advertised. Flight and critical care, event medicine, offshore and industrial, cruise and international, wildland and disaster seasons, private duty, telehealth and remote.

Police and law-enforcement roles are out of scope. Keeping the category narrow is what makes the board worth opening.

Where do the jobs come from?

From across the industry — federal boards, hiring agencies, industry sources and other boards. We aggregate them, filter for first-responder relevance and pay quality, and verify each listing before it goes live.

We do not claim these roles exist nowhere else. The value is that they are gathered, filtered and checked in one place, which is the part nobody does for you.

Do you apply for me, or place me in a job?

No, on both. We are a discovery layer, not a staffing agency, a recruiter or an employer. We do not place, employ or represent anyone, and we take no cut of what you earn.

You apply on the employer’s own site. We link you straight there.

Is there a free version or a trial?

No. Membership is paid only — no free tier, no trial. The board is the product, so there is no half of it to give away.

What does it cost?

Three plans — monthly, quarterly and annual — all with the same access. The numbers are on the plans page, one click before checkout.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Cancel auto-renewal in your account settings, or email info@earlyresponders.com and we will do it for you. There is nothing to phone up about and nobody will try to talk you out of it.

How often are new jobs added?

Every day. Listings are added continuously and checked before they go live, so what you open in the morning is current.

Can new jobs come to me instead?

Yes. Set keyword alerts and pick the cadence — daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Most members run one broad alert and one narrow one.

Why are employer names hidden until I join?

Because assembling and checking this list is the work you are paying for, and a public page with every employer on it is that work given away. Members see the employer, the full description and the apply link. Everyone else sees the role, the location and the pay.

Does it work on a phone?

That is what it was built for. The board is meant to be read in the front of a rig between calls, not at a desk.

How do I get in touch?

Email info@earlyresponders.com, or use the contact form. A person answers.
